SUMMARY

 AE Global is an AVL integrator primarily serving churches throughout the United States. AE Global is seeking a person with knowledge of AVL as well as an understanding of churches, their styles, goals, and functions. The Field Engineer must be familiar with all active projects and ensure that all projects are completed accurately, timely, within budget; with a high degree of quality and that they produce the desired effect. The Field Engineer must also implement the design plan this will include interfacing with Sales, other installers, general contractors, other trades sharing a job site and on rare occasion, clients. A Field Engineer will work within AutoCAD to design and engineer drawings and schematics to serve as the blueprints for installation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work hand in hand with the churches and clients that AE Global serves.
  • Be a leader both personally and professionally for the team members and contractors.
  • Build and maintain a healthy team dynamic. Working in unity at all times.
  • Ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time, as stated in the original proposal or contract and any tech updates associated with the project.
  • Follow and enforce all job site safety policies, rules and regulations.
  • Interface with job site subcontractors, general contractors, and site inspectors as needed.
  • Stay current in AVL industry trends.
  • Work within AutoCAD to build, spec, and engineer projects
  • Maintain base level knowledge of all active projects
  • Work in unity with the Engineering team to ensure all projects are engineered and completed in a timely manner
  • Strong ability to work as a solo self starter, as well as in a team setting.
  • Spend one week of the month on a job site to lead and assist installation.

TRAVEL

The role of Field Engineer requires one week of travel to job sites per month. The remaining weeks will be spent in the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of basic construction concepts
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent software
  • Understanding of basic AVL equipment and concepts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and lifting. Sufficient use of hands and arms to operate field equipment and tools.
