SUMMARY

AE Global is an AVL integrator primarily serving churches throughout the United States. AE Global is seeking a person with knowledge of AVL as well as an understanding of churches, their styles, goals, and functions. The Installation Manager must ensure that all AVL projects are completed accurately, timely, within budget; with a high degree of quality and that they produce the desired effect. The Installation Manager must also implement the design plan this will include interfacing with Sales, Engineering, other installers, general contractors, other trades sharing a job site and on rare occasion clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work hand in hand, in relationship with the churches and clients AE Global serves.
  • Be a leader both personally and professionally for the installation team members and contractors.
  • Build and maintain a healthy team dynamic. Working in unity at all times.
  • Ensure that all assigned contracts are completed on time and within budget, as stated in the original proposal or contract and any tech updates associated with the project.
  • Follow and enforce all job site safety policies, rules and regulations.
  • Interface with all job site subcontractors, general contractors, and site inspectors.
  • Ensure the training and certifications of all installation crew members.
  • Perform regular on-site inspections to ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with the design plan and all state and local regulations.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees. This includes "inter" and "intra" departmental employees. Also included are all customers, contractors, owners, suppliers, etc.
  • Responsible for accurately scheduling and reporting hours and expenses.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings as necessary.
  • Stay current in AVL industry trends.

TRAVEL

The role of Installation Manager requires regular and recurring travel to the destinations of our clients. Duration from a few days up to two weeks at a time depending on size of installation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of basic construction concepts
  • Two years of AVL experience and/or construction experience
  • Ability to conduct one’s self safely in construction environments, an understanding of basic construction, and an aptitude for building and following instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and lifting. Sufficient use of hands and arms to operate field equipment and tools.
